Sour redcurrants, soft oak vanilla, hospital ward plasters, forest floor, there's a hint of rosemary in there- all on the nose. You smash it back and the cherries and violets come out, fresh, incredible acidity and tannin structure. Probably shouldn't have opened in 2018 but there's plenty going on here and the fresh primaries and unreal levels of fresh acidity make this a joy.
