Kirkland Signature
Signature Series Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese

A very enjoyable Brunello. Light bodied and smooth. Fruity with earth notes and red berries.
Light to medium Bodied with medium plus acidity.
Good by itself or with food. I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.
Needs a couple of hours to open up properly.
Not my style, but I really enjoyed it.
14% alcohol by volume.

This is the 2010 Brunello. Cherry, wild strawberry, leather, milk chocolate, licorice. One of the best Kirkland wines we have had.

I’m seriously impressed with this Brunello! And at a very decent price as well!

Excellent for the price. Best Kirkland wine. A bit lighter than a more pricey Brunello.

Jan 30th, 2021Took a flyer on this at Costco and regret it. It’s not a cheap bottle but tastes like it. Lacks structure and subtlety, comes in like table wine but at a more premium price. Would not buy again.

Lifted confectionary notes, dried plum meets stewed cherries. Soft tannins, moderate acid, with primary red fruit, think blackcherry. Finishes smooth with moderate length.
