Disappointing example of a Napa Meritage. I expected more, even at this price point. Deep Ruby red color and medium bodied. Plenty of black berry fruit, but lacks depth and character and has a course finish.

A bit too much going on here especially during the first sitting. To the contrary, I found the wine got more or less “decent” after sitting around for a bit.

A great bottle of wine for $14. Notes of cherry and plum well balanced medium acidity. Very drinkable. Will be a go-to for an affordable, everyday wine going forward.
