This purchase was an experiment 11 yrs ago and one paid off in an epic 2010 vintage. It is about two to three years from its peak. Tasted it blind with friends who liked it quite a bit. 2010 for great Bordeaux producers will be much like 2000, long lived and will need a lot time. Not quite 9.2 but pushes it rounding up. Meant for fatty lamb or beef.

Absolutely excellent. Nice smooth, not too heavy.

Clear, medium to deep ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of black plums, cassis, and graphite on the nose; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, high tannins, high alcohol, full body, and pronounced intensity primary and secondary flavors of blackberries, black cherries, wet gravel, and eucalyptus with a long finish. This wine is complex and intense. I think it will be even better with a long decant. Surprisingly, I'm rating this wine as outstanding.

Probably needed a decant but opened it up and it was better.

I love Margaux so bought this at Costco for the price. It’s not taste I recall. Lighter and more cherry. I do enjoy but not what i expected.

Bordeaux blend with notes of blackberry and plum with a medium body, smooth tannins, and a balanced aroma. New favorite for a table wine from Costco if paired with a vinturi.
