Worth every penny for the $8 I paid for this very nice wine.

An incredible value for less than $10. Half the fun of buying these bottles is the detective work that comes along with it. Reading the bottom the label you find that this wine is from Chateau Petit Freylon. A little research shows that this château is in the Entre-Deux-Mer region of Bordeaux. Specifically in the Côtes de Bordeaux-St-Macaire sub region. This is an incredibly small area next to a town of only a couple of hundred people. It’s nice that this is a Bordeaux Supérieur compared to a regular Bordeaux, but frankly you get what you pay for for wine from this region. Not bad, left Bank heavy on the Cabernet versus Merlot mix but a delicious wine and a good value.

It’s good enough. Tart and not as smooth as most Bordeaux but that’s to be expected. A great value and everyday French wine.

Not enjoyable, tastes off. $7.50 still not worth it as there are cheaper far more enjoyable wines.

I agree with John Howard’s review. Better than I expected for the price point. 75% cab 25% merlot. 12 months on French oak. 2016 vintage, 13.5%
Alcohol.

Underripe cherries on the nose. Grapefruit and spice flavors up front.
