Kir-Yianni Estate
Kali Riza Amyndeon Xinomavro
Cherry, red fruits in general. Smooth tanines but quite high acidity, almost disturbing. Probably needed a few more years in my cellar before opened

May 3rd, 2023Fresh, crunchy red fruit, medium on the palate, yet with a tannic grip and with bright, juicy acidity. Highly drinkable.

Jan 6th, 2017Kir Yianni 'Kali Riza' 2010, 13% alcohol. 100% Xinomavro from 60 year old vines in Amyndeo, Florina, which is the coolest vine growing area in Greece. Bright red fruit, distinctive earthiness. Light to medium bodied, silky tannins, good acidity, elegant with a smooth finish. Not overly complex, but with a built in delicious factor.
