This is a very nice Cabernet Franc from Virginia. Fruit forward with a nice mouthfeel and nice complexity.

Showing red and blue fruits with wood, spices, earth, light vegetables, tobacco leaf, spices, cocoa and coffee.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Very enjoyable by itself or with food. Tangy and easy drinking.

I had it a few months ago, and this time I gave it a light chill and had it by the pool.

Only 12.4% alcohol by volume, which is really nice to see.

90 points.

Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim and medium intensity.

Fruity nose with bing cherries, blueberries, strawberry pie, light oak, spices, honeysuckle, wild flowers and light earth.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with sweet raspberries, bing cherries, tobacco, spices, earth, light wood, peppercorn and light herbs.

Medium finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.

This Single Vineyard Cabernet Franc is drinking very nicely now, although still young. Very pleasant and easy drinking with mild complexity and a soft mouthfeel. The tangy and spicy finish is nice.

Good right out of the bottle, but the tannins show up after an hour of airtime. Worth the wait.

Would be nice to see how this develops in the next 5 years.

I love the fact that the alcohol is so low, and the mouthfeel is buttery and supple. Easy to finish the whole bottle by yourself.

I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.

Whole cluster fermentation. Aged for 18 months in Oak barrels.
A very small production of only 576 bottles. This is bottle number 44.
