This is a very enjoyable Grenache Blanc from Paso Robles. Showing citrus, green apples, grapefruits, bitter herbs, spices, light honey, peaches, melons and white pepper.

Very aromatic and pleasurable. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel.

Easy drinking and a good porch wine. Tasty and interesting.

Needs to be very chilled.

I paired it with cheeses, salmon dip and crackers.

13.8% alcohol by volume.

89 points.

Very pale lemon in color.

Fruity nose with green apples, lemons, grapefruits, citrus, minerals, limes, light spices and white pepper. Nose calls for a Sauvignon Blanc from California.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity crisp and refreshing and a bit buttery.

Dry on the palate with citrus, green apples, grapefruits, spices, bitter herbs and white pepper.

Long finish with herbs and almonds.

This Grenache Blanc from California is a good surprise. Well balanced, crisp and refreshing, with a light watery mouthfeel. Showing nice complexity.

Drinking very nicely now and better when fresh and properly chilled. Very easy to drink. A good summer wine and good for parties.

I paired it with soft and hard cheeses, but it really went well with the French Brie cheese.

And speaking of Anthony Yount, if you haven’t tried any wines from his Kinero Cellars label, then you’re missing out. Best QPR grenache blanc you’ll find anywhere.

Heavy pear and honey on the first taste without any sweetness of honey on the mouthfeel. the aftertaste of tart fruit and the lingering heady taste. It’s apparent this is not fruit juice 😜
