Clear, medium ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of cedar and black cherries; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, high tannins, medium alcohol, medium body and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of red currants, figs, wet slate, and cinnamon with a medium finish. This wine is simple and a little out of balance, but enjoyable. Overall, I rate this wine as good.
