Top Notes For
Pale gold. Developed nose with notes of old stale mandarins with a hint of ginger. On the palate leads one to think it might be sweet but in fact finishes dry with notes of cumquat bitterness. Interesting wine and good QPR. Tasted again on 18 March 2017. Same aromas and the palate has developed a little more to be more mouth filling and delicious belying the rather high Alc of 14%. Still with the slightly bitter finish which does not detract.

Sep 17th, 2016Soft citrus and blossom aromas with a developed oiliness, followed by a lemon palate and pithy tartness. Not bad; perhaps a little simple.
