Jun 15th, 2013Super new world. Aromas of dusty, dark fruits (blackberries blueberries, etc) with hints of violets and aggressive Oak aromas. Tannins are soft on the palate and the fruit is quite jammy, with hints of spice on the back end. Not very high in alchohol and everything is well balanced for the style. It doesn't have any of the world world syrah (gaminess, black pepper) characteristics, though.
