Rose, 50/50 Grenache and Mourvèdre, Lonesome Springs Ranch, 240 cases produced. Light salmon pink, excellent clarity. Not much in the nose. Underripe peach and lemon-citrus-grapefruit flavors with slight black pepper finish. Dry, good acidity. Light skin astringency. After 45 minutes, strawberry flavor and a hint of raspberry emerges. Overall an understated, well-crafted dry rose.
