Ai Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Very Bordeaux with loam and mocha scents. Bell pepper, cigar box, and cedar are prevalent. Soft on the palate with cassis and wood spice.

This was the red stunner of the day and the one wine that can be put down for 10 plus year’s. A great example of an American styled Bordeaux!

Small production from Heidi Barrett at Kenzo - tender, delineated, balanced- graphite, pressed fruit skins, tranquil dapple tannin

Lovely bouquet on the nose with dried fruit and spice. Although, I was premature in tasting this wine resulting in very tight tannins, I certainly enjoyed a variety of spices. A must have vintage, however sit on the bottle for a half decade or more.
