Pic is calling it zin, when, in fact it was a 2002 cab. Excellent bottle, complex & long.

Dry but not heavy. Really nice

Aged as long as it needs , 10 yesrs

Nice zin. Great fruit flavor and structure. Not like the overly ripe flabby Zins. This one has a "bite" (see what I did there)

Perfect with spaghetti carbonara for thanksgiving

1995 vintage Zinfandel. Firm upper cork gave way a bit on the inside lower half inch but removed it all with a little care. That cork was Tight for twenty years. Must have been bold when young. It was pale light red, almost heavily faded but smelled sweet. Not as sweet to the taste but a mellow and a hint of cranberry after airing out. Dry.
