Beautiful borscht colored. Aroma of astringent berries. Sour cherry, blackberry, slight tobacco rounding it out. Nice acidity, but tanins predominate. Not bad with leftover beef rib roast. A couple of years would improve the quaff.

Disliked it. Felt like it was way too overpowering with spices for a cab. Never opened. Double decanted and even let it air overnight hoping for smoothness. A little better day two but still will not buy it again.
