If you are thinking this is Oz shiraz it's a yes, but also a no. Heathcote is the right answer.
Classy, not overripe fruit
Complex and with a little tannin
I can't stop thinking of a Barbaresco with a bit more flesh and maybe just a touch less noblesse
Still it is long and pleasant and much cheaper too than any good Barbaresco
