Old school. Lots of black fruit, some fig and raisin, but balanced with minerality. Healthy acid and tannins. This can still lay down a long time.

Pulled out an older vintage. Black, inky fruit. Full bodied. Tasting a little fig and chocolate. High alcohol at 15.

Dark, viscous and monumental, this Cabernet based Bordeaux Blend detonates on the palate with black currants, chocolate and cedar concentration, wrapped into the most perfect tannins. "A mellow, slightly herbal character pervades this plush feeling and generous tasting wine. Smelling ripe and fruity, it is accented by savory spice aromas, and delivers warm plum and berry flavors." (Jennifer shot Undercover Boss at KJ, they comped this wine to her room, after she tasted it, she casually mentioned that her dad would love this wine. They graciously sent me a complimentary bottle. One of the nicest things ever by Jenny and KJ - goes down as a fondest memory!)
