While it has the thick tannins one might expect, it has a slight acidic tang rather than a velvety smoothness. The prominent flavors are black currant, black pepper spices, and a touch of coffee in the tannic finish.

Lighter than I expected, dry, not too tannic -y. Made lamb burgers and butternut squash. Became spicy as it aired. Would love to drink it again. Way to go naked wines!
