Sipping Fine Wine

From 40-year-old self-rooted vines that are organically farmed, vineyard owned by Ken and Karen Wright, aged 10 months in neutral French oak. Ruby color with aromas of dark red fruits, black tea and ample floral spice. On the palate flavors of black cherry, blackberry and plum with tobacco, cedar, black pepper, tea and vanilla spice. Pronounced soft fine tannins, long finish, well balanced with acidity, ending with fruit, herb, spice and flinty wet stone character. Wish cork was protected and not exposed. Tasting Sample. A little pricey!

A more nose-shy KFW offering - subtle cherry, raspberry, black tea, cola nut on the nose. Lively, tart palate, lovely sip-friendly palate texture, touch of spice towards the finish, faint tannins. #eolaamityhills

Extra pale straw yellow. Closed off in the nose. A bit of tart apple. Delicious Chardonnay and way too young. Wait a couple years
