A fan of Keever Vineyards since day one my last encounter with this vintage had me worried.
Glad to report that it must have been a bad bottle as this one performed much better.

At 14.9% alc. according to the label I had my concerns but this is actually balanced.
Kudos to Celia Welch for another great wine.
(If I could give an extra point it would be because of the owners. You have to look hard for a nicer couple in the valley than Bill & Olga Keever).
Go visit and taste if you can!

Excellent. intense, yet very elegant. Black fruits, espresso, and dark chocolate. Fabulous finish. Drink it now!

WOW! Have not had this in a while. Probably would not win awards for restraint, but if you like big juicy unctuous Napa cabs, this wine is for you!
