11 years of rest and this has emerged as a real gem. A nose you can smell from feet away of deep black, fruits, cocoa, and earth. The same flavors show in the wine, the fruit is starting to dry a little but there is still good acidity and mild tannins. Finishes with a blast of Rutherford dust.

Sep 29th, 2019This was still just so young. Starting to soften but not into development yet. Plenty of rutherford dust and very drying tannins but I wish I could have decanted this for several hours.
