50-year-old Riesling from the Alsace region. Deep golden amber color - similar to a muted orange sunset. Strong fragrant candied aromas to start. Honeycomb, dried citrus, and minerality notes on the palate. There was still a surprising amount of acidity remaining in the layered finish.
