A blend of the local Kangun varietal with Chardonnay and Rkatsiteli from the Armavir region at the base of Mount Ararat, produced by the huge Karas Estate (400 hectares of high altitude vineyards at 1000 meters above sea level). Volcanic soil flat land in an extremely dry continental climate (drip irrigation is mandatory). Intense nose reminiscent of New World Chardonnay, a hint of flowers and a mineral touch. Round and ripe, good acidity and a mineral finish. Well done. Abv. 14%. Good value.
