Close to perfection. Whatever that means. Slow ox for 7 hours. Decanted for 3 hours. Balance, finesse, memorable.

Decanted 10 hours and this was still tight as nails. This needs a lot more time.

Cali Cab wine dinner. Blind and last place wine pays for dinner for the person who brings the WOTN . This '08 was my contribution and unfortunately it was flawed (some green, stemmy, medicinal thing going on) so I was paying up for dinner.
