Italian primitivo is one of my favourite grapes and I'm a big fan of a punchy Aussie red, so I couldn't turn this one down. Full dark red fruits on the nose. A well structured, powerful but not over-powering wine. Really impressed!

Dark fruit, medium body, reasonable acid. Not bad. Certainly not like typical yank Zinfandel.
