Дурацкая молочка и специи, как прямо, когда хотят "сделать хорошо", но при этом совершенно фантастическое послевкусие варенья из ревня. Помимо этого в носе сильно жаренный бекон, резина, табак. Потом все успокаивается и проявляется черника. Во вкусе карамель, черноплодка, лакрица, ваниль. Передубленность остается и уходит только на второй день.
Странная штука в новотсветском стиле. По структуре и балансу хорошо, но что касается ароматов и нот во вкусе, есть вопросы.

Hello Syrah! Let's start with a great package and move on to substance: This is a textbook Syrah - pure simple! nose: fresh blackberry and licorice, color: velvet lush in a glass. Low on tannins, great finesse. Mine is the 2013. Cheers!

A great Washington Syrah. Shows very well right after opening. Blackberries, ripe blue fruits, smoked meat.

Better than previous vintages,.....expressive ripe berry compote, bacon fat, and finishes with ample acidity and minerality. Very well done!

Full fruit punch up front, then fades quickly away. I've seen people compare this to northern rhone, but it lacks that earthy complexity. One trick pony, but the trick is dam good.
