Bourgogne Chardonnay

This is an intriguing wine from an artisanal producer who practices minimal intervention in his wine making. Very pure aromas of lemon, green apple, white peach, acacia, wet stone and struck match. Crisp acidity with a silky mouthfeel. Quite long finish and overall, Impressive for a Bourgogne Blanc.

Julien Altaber was trained by Dominique Derain. Started to make wine under the same roof & now has his own label since 2007. Fruit is harvested around Saint Aubin.

All organic and biodynamic white Burgundy from Julian Altabar. He’s been making his uncompromising version without any inherited land or family ties. Bourgogne Blanc is his entry - rich and voluptuous. Drink slowly with a good decant. Breathe in vanilla lemon spice poppy seed pound cake. Flavors of apricots, preserved lemon, canned pineapple and pear.
