A LOT of acidity, and dry. Balsamic, dark berries; sharp. Lighter body, reminds me a bit of cabernet franc but without the character. I am to novice in chambourcin to say if this is typical for the varietal or not. Still a decent red for a meal with a rich red meat like a pot roast.
