This particular riesling was the reason I got addicted to this beautiful wine.It was back in 1999 when I drank it and it was the first vintage of 1997 in the new vineyard of a really interesting local winemaker Joza Jelancic.19 years later it's still a beauty.Straw to light golden with beautiful clarity.Really nice and complex but still vibrant nose.Beeswax,honey,pollen followed by sweet apricot,pineapple and intense wet stone.Nice layers on the palate with interchangeable acidity,minerality and sugars. 91
