2015v. Dark violet. On the nose: blackberry, black cherries, rose, and black currants. On the palette, there's plenty of ripe dry black fruit, and brown sugar, vanilla, walnuts, and smoky cedar. Tannins are pretty soft for a young wine. Acidity at about a medium. Overall, a crowd pleasing wine with a lot of different flavor notes- but nothing distinctly cab jumps out. 14% ABV.

Dark and delicious. I liked the dry woody finish while eating a spicy pasta dish.

Did not detect much of a difference from the standard Josh Cabernet other than the upcharge in price. Still a very drinkable wine.

Big time cherry and cassis fruit. Tobacco and vanilla on the finish. Fruit is so pronounced that wine could be thought of as sweet. (But it’s not)

Was disappointed. The regular Josh Cab is better. There is a bitterness on the finish that is a bit off putting.

Pleasant and sophisticated, almost too tame. Lightly tannic and fruit forward with a perfectly balanced finish; not too dry, not too sweet. Would have rated even higher if it had just a tad more complexity.
