Jun 1st, 2019Lemon créme, pear, and honey better on the nose, with taste of apples, créme brûlée, lemon pepper, and a hint of oak. Medium viscosity, medium ETOH presence, soft texture, long finish. A pronounced, confident wine, balanced in its soft mouthfeel and invigorating citric acidity. Not thick and buttery like I think of as typical for a California Chardonnay, thankfully.
