Fruits are bright. Strawberries, cherries, pomegranate, cranberry ocean spray. Light earth and chalkiness.

This meaty and masculine wine is not your run of the mill Pinot Noir. From JFV's Freestone Vineyard it is a full body wine and a true standout. A Burgundy style wine it offering a hint of cranberry and a wisp of French oak.
Matched perfectly with wild Salmon and Black Trumpets or by itself. I highly recommend it.
