The nose is amazing, cigar, campfire, vanilla, spice, mixed with ripe blackberries and black cherries. Lacking a bit of balance on the palate to be great. A tiny bit flabby for me. But at this price point not bad.

A good bit of acid which will cut through the andouille dish we’re having with this. Lots of pie fruit. Soft tannins. A perfectly fine Monday night wine.
