Reserve Las Divas Gualtallary Red Blend

Here we have a bright, fruity, wine with heavy complexity and residual sugars. There is a mineral body and a bit of tartness to the finish. It made a perfect pizza wine.

This Argentine red blend is smooth and sophisticated. The acidity is balanced, and the oak restrained. Its mouthfeel is silky without being cloying, with subtle tannins that begin to coat the tongue before one becomes aware.

Got better somewhat with food but still disappointed as Argentinian Malbecs are a favorite and we wanted something robust and berry, this was off the chart funky smelling and leathery tasting

This wine is deep purple in the glass. The nose is fragrant with black cherry. The palate is fruit-forward with pleasing acidity in the finish. Great with barbecue.
