The most powerful and tannic of the 00s. The nose has the complexity but the texture/palate has not evolved. Hold

May 30th, 2014Nose of blackberries, Santa Rosa plums, cedar, and some bell pepper. Plums, pepper, and some vegetal flavors on the finish. Nice body and smooth tannins. Can definitely taste some Merlot in the mix. Awesome cab!

Apr 19th, 2017Classic French style from the Jordans, who were famous Francophiles. 2007 being one of their great years (for a majority of the region...until the fabulous 2013's and of late). 75% CabSauv,20% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot, 1% Malbec. After 10 years this one is softly round and balanced and light acidity. Perfect food wine with the healthy tannins. Good choice to start off National Drink Wine Day, yesterday!! 🍷😃
