Dark gold color. Petrol nose with notes of apricot, stones, tan spice and a little honey. Fruit forward in the mouth but lacking acidity (although others picked up some). Great nose and silky texture.

Gold amber. Rounded and composed. Stone fruit and sweet edges. Round, sweet and long.

Jun 20th, 2022Tasted blind. Dark yellow gold color. Similar nose to the wine next to it. More complex, more sweet, richer and seems older. Notes of honey and almond, petrol, apricot. My guess (which we have to throw out there before both bottles are revealed) is the 90 Trimbach CSH. It's the JJ Prum WSA Goldkap, which I guessed the other bottle to be. Was definitely more rich and the better of the two bottles tonight. Perfect compliment to the cold tomato gazpacho it’s served with.
