Kabinett Riesling

Today is a good day for some beautiful Riesling.

Still a baby. Delicious now but will be better in 5 to 10 years.

Blind wine, flight 2, wine 1...right grape, wrong place

Great entry level Riesling from my favorite producer. Never has the kabinett and even price ignored super compelling.

Very sweet, bright. Slightly acidic. Very little petrol compared to other riesling I've had.

Perfect with some nuclear hot Thai food.

Lovely.

Maybe slightly sweeter at the outset than I might like but over the course of the meal its balance and versatility made itself known. By the end I wished I had another bottle at home.

Beautiful with fresh Dungeness on a warm summer evening.
