Great Caesar’s Ghost! Superman’s PAL has outdone himself with this latest foray into the Phantom Zone of Bordeaux-style blends (hence “BX”) - let us simply call it a Claret. This Wine is full bodied and smooth drinking, rife with red currant and plum flavors. The balanced acidity was enough to stand up to a variety of foods, most notably a porcini mushroom ravioli dish - the pungent fungus was perfectly complemented by the wine’s slightly astringent fruit. This Claret must have been rocketed from Krypton because it has enhanced powers under our yellow sun! 😺🍷

Superman's Pal strikes again, with a delicious food-friendly blend. This wine is fruit forward and verges on full bodied structure, but no so much as to obscure the dark cherry and cassis fruits. The finish is dense and complex. It went perfectly with ground beef zucchini noodle lasagna (zucchini strips in place of pasta). Use in any pairing that a SuperTuscan would be appropriate to drink 🍷

A tasty red blend of Zinfandel and Merlot, this wine has the balanced sugars and blackberry licorice flavors of a SuperTuscan, with a cherry finish. Great food wine!
