Possibly the best example of Tempranillo I have tasted, excluding of course the fabulous Harney Lane perennial fantastique, this wine is medium bodied with restrained blackberry and plum tones. Good with avarity of foods but also as an early evening cocktail wine.

Bright pomegranate colour. Lots of ripe dark berries and fruits on the nose with spices, liquorice and oak. Medium-bodied palate with juicy dark fruits and very fine tannins. Medium-long savoury finish. Very close to 4 starts - 88/100. Enjoyed with rare steak - perfect pair.
