Sep 2nd, 2018Deep burgundy color, very ripe nose of nose of stewed plum, licorice, black cherry, cacao, cough syrup, black licorice, tobacco, clove and nutmeg, massive tannin with balanced acidity, tastes of black plum, star anise, garrigue, black cherry, cedar, blackberry, licorice and pot roast, smokey and robust, long finish with aftertaste of more licorice and prune, needs another 5+ years to settle.
