Very good, but not in the same class as the 85 a. gerin we drank alongside. By comparison, rather fruit forward with loads of black raspberry, cola, and bloody game. On the palate, good acidity and good fruit, but just not as compelling to me (my wife and I preferred the smoky, meatiness of the '85, while the other 3 preferred the '10).
Nice tannin on the finish. Maybe check back in a few years?
