About to be overwhelmed with Oregon Pinot; so it's time for a nice fresh Chinon. #cabfranclove

Tannic at first but opened up nicely after being decanted.

An interesting one. The nose is rose and soft red fruits but it could easily be confused for a Syrah on the palate with assertive tannins, lots of leather and waxy darker fruit notes. Not bad at all, just surprising.
