I really enjoy Chassagne-Montrachet wines as a whole. Think this is either the first time having this producer or just not in a very longtime.

Having said that, this is one of the most disappointing ones I’ve had or can remember. It is not awful. It just doesn’t live up to almost all I’ve had from this terroir.

It drinks easy, just not much character/depth. It shows green apple, lemon-a touch syrupy, lime, pineapple, tropicals-green melon, kiwi, some chalk-volcanics-limestone, sea fossils, round acidity, a polished finish that is very short & not dynamic.

Burrata pairing.
