This is a Grand Cru Chablis Vaudésir. A pale, light, golden straw color with luminosity and golden reflections. A clean, medium intensity on the nose with hints of lime flower with some grassiness and mineral scents. Quite a bit of freshness, to this developed or aging vintage, thanks to the balance of body, alcohol and most of all the acidity. This Chablis Vaudésir has medium intensity, with white flowers, lemon and mineral flavors on the palate. This Grand Cru definitely shows it's finesse and character. There are also secondary and tertiary flavors of undergrowth and almond. Once it opens up, the length goes on forever. This wine has definite viscosity, and is ready to drink, although it's freshness indicates it would keep for a bit longer as well.
