Domaine Pignard Beaujolais Gamay

Mild - nice easy sip

Nice cherry blackberrie vanilla to the nose. Cherry blackberries vanilla and earth to the palate. Good tannins and acid...light mouthfeel and med finish.

Very light. Not as tart as the last Beaujolais I had. Nice chilled. Reminded me of a cherry fruit roll up.

The wine offers little to say.

Great with lamb and zucchini boats

Decent light bodied, semi dry with not a lot of dark fruit.

Very nice wine for the price! Im starting to like the gamay grape more and more. Bright sweet cherry on the nose with hints of red berry. Lighy easy drinking pallet with pretty high acidity but great raspberry flavor and finish. Smooth easy to handle tannins.

First time drinking Beaujolais. Raspberry, cherry, light flavored. The flavor changed significantly after an hour of being opened. Not very memorable but will continue trying a few other brands/years. More researching!
