Great. My last btl of 2002 JC Cellars... I held so many of their early 2000s & I’m amazed how they hold their fruit. The Philary vineyard has always been towards the top. Like all JC’s - tons of sediment - many opportunities to stain my otherwise, pearly white teeth. :)

Stunner $22 auction buy. No reason this doesn't have 5 more good years left. RP's note from 2004 are spot on. Slight heat sting on the finish. At this price it's amazing. Storage looks to be pristine. Cork pristine.

Still some massive fruit on a nice backbone. A little heat as it warmed up from cellar temp.
