A nicely balanced Zinfandel that was a pleasant surprise for Amador County. Great fruit with a balance of oak and acidity. Enjoyed it with grilled lamb, a match made in heaven.

dry creek/Grist vineyard smells or orange/toasted oak corn nut but on the back nose. soft, lust, lovely tastes or raspberry VERY BALANCED. nice finish. Food pairing: blue Stilton or any blue, cheddar with some acidity. Grill steak blue cheese mashed potatoes.
