Napa Syrah meets WA state Syrah! Not familiar with this producer but thought it was very good. Meaty without being bloody. It’s dark and smoky, but with a fruit forward profile to keep it lifted. Savory herbs, leafy, peppercorn and currant towards the back of the palate.

Yamhill outlands. Cool weather Syrah, rhone-ish bramble berry distinctly oaky but not overly so. Good for the price.

Aug 7th, 2014After a little digging through a solid, yet obnoxiously overpriced list I happened upon this one. Have had a few Januik wines over the years and nice to find one with a little age. While still way over priced it was a terrific bottle, pleasing everyone at the table.

Pretty good! Good balance of bitterness and sweetness! I bought this one for my Dad from a winery Mrs. Webb is a member of out in Woodinville.
