Smells a little funky. But like wine candy too. Flavors are dark fruits with more of the red licorice and hard cherry candy from the nose. The tannins come through though on the second sip. Not a bad example of cheap, hot locale Syrah. Just not much jumps out at me.

Aug 30th, 2018For a $6 bottle of wine (we got it on a huge sale I realize it's usually $18!!) wow. Even for $18 this is well worth it. Big and jammy like you'd expect from Paso Robles with lots of berry flavor. Will not disappoint if you're a fan of this regions reds!

Big dark fruit flavors but a little off. Not quite balanced. Good sipping wine.
