Smells a little funky. But like wine candy too. Flavors are dark fruits with more of the red licorice and hard cherry candy from the nose. The tannins come through though on the second sip. Not a bad example of cheap, hot locale Syrah. Just not much jumps out at me.

A nice syrah at a great price. There is something about the nose I can't describe, not bad but different. Very good all-around for a wine at this price.
