Aug 21st, 2015Dense, concentrated chocolate, dark fruit with a jammy edge. Full bodied, sweetened with ripe vanilla oak and fine grained but potent tannins giving it a lingering finish. Perhaps a bit passed its peak but still extremely good.

Apr 23rd, 2022At first it drank more like a dry Napa Valley Merlot than a Cab. Dark fruit of blue berry with an edge of dried fig. Interestingly over time the tannins started to evolve and became more pronounced giving it a deeper layer of complexity and a grippy finish.

Jul 3rd, 2018Held up nicely to a rich meal of homemade crab bisque and filet with bearnaise sauce. Cherry, vanilla, oak and leather. Better when it opens up for about 30 minutes.
